As a Council Chairperson balancing a rigorous full-time career, I need a Managing Agent whose HQ provides strong, autonomous backing—a team that drives outcomes so I don't have to manage the daily processes. Melana, led by Anthony, excels in this space. When they took over, they immediately proved their value by resolving an inherited NEA dengue issue and holding the rightful accountable parties financially responsible for the fine. Since then, they have tremendously reduced our arrears, provided in-depth legal counsel, and successfully steered the estate through a complex en bloc EOGM. Anthony is an exceptional leader who steps in decisively to ensure community safety and by-laws are strictly upheld. Melana operates with a true bias for action, delivering the executive support essential for a volunteer Council.

How a company recruit an employee, how a company treat an employee and what kind of support a company gives the employees very much determine how the employees will perform – this is especially true when the employees work offsite from the HQ. I strongly feel that Melana has achieved this which is why, we at Hillview Regency has been renewing contract with Melana all these years (from TOP till now for twenty years!) The onsite staff are diligent with their duties and always ready to spring into actions whenever there is any issues onsite. Even off office hours, staff are standing-by to response to any emergencies – case in point, when there was a power failure at night due to sub-station transformer failure, the local staff immediately activated the security operator for onsite supervision such as traffic control, and contacted our electric term contractor who attended the power failure within the stipulated timing. These all with the close support from HQ as a command centre to our emergency. It takes commitment and capabilities to run and manage an estate of 573 units, I strongly think that Melana and its team has achieved it. As such, I personally will recommend Melana as any estate's Managing Agent!
